The deck
Our parasols never come down. The deck is covered and heated, so you can sit outside with a coffee in January or a cocktail on a cold Friday night, wrapped up under the heaters.
In summer the courtyard fills with sunshine, and it's one of the best spots in Birkdale Village to watch the world go by. We never book the courtyard, so it's always first come, first served.
Bring the dog
Dogs are welcome on the lower terrace, the deck and in the bar (just not in the restaurant), so the whole family can come for brunch, a Sunday roast or a drink after a walk on the beach.

Is your outdoor terrace open all year?
Yes. The deck is covered by permanent parasols and heated, so we serve outside all year round, including through the winter.
Is Coast dog friendly?
Yes. Dogs are welcome on the lower terrace, the deck and in the bar, just not in the restaurant.
Is the terrace heated?
Yes. The heaters go on whenever the evening turns cold, all through autumn and winter.
Can I eat outside?
Yes. The full menu is served outside, from brunch through to dinner.
Can I book a table outside?
The courtyard is never booked: it is first come, first served, so just walk in. The covered deck, the bar and the restaurant can all be reserved for food.
Can I book a table just for drinks?
We only take bookings for food. Drinks are always walk in, so pop in and grab a spot in the courtyard or the bar.
