Christmas parties
Book a table in the restaurant for your work do or family get-together. There's no set menu, so everyone orders what they fancy from the à la carte with festive dishes added.
For a private party of up to 120, The Cliff upstairs has its own bar and an events manager to look after everything.
Deposits, simply
For tables booked from 16 December onwards we take a £10 per person deposit when you book. It all comes off your bill on the night.
Need to cancel or change numbers? Let us know at least two weeks before and we'll refund those places in full.
Live music in December
Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday up to Christmas, an afternoon set on Fayre day, and two acts on each of the big nights.

Our black-and-gold gift vouchers come in £25 and £50, and you can pick them up from the bar any time we're open.
Good to know
Are you open on Christmas Day?
No, Christmas Day is the one day we close. We are open every other day from Monday 21 December through to New Year, including Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Is there a set Christmas menu?
No. From Wednesday 25 November our evening menu becomes the festive à la carte, with a full roast turkey dinner alongside our usual favourites, so everyone in your group can choose what they like.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Tables booked for any date from 16 December onwards need a £10 per person deposit, taken when you book. It comes off your bill on the night. If you cancel or reduce numbers at least two weeks before your booking, those places are refunded in full.
Can we book a Christmas party?
Yes. Book a table in the restaurant online, or for a private party of up to 120 guests, our upstairs function room The Cliff has its own bar and events manager.
What is happening on New Year's Eve?
Free entry, with live music from Yianni 8pm to 10pm and Barefoot Ron 10pm to 1am, and the bar open until 2am. Tables can be booked for food with a deposit.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes. Our £25 and £50 gift vouchers are available from the bar any time we are open.
